- How do I buy a painting?
- By writing. There is no online checkout on this site yet: send a message with the title of the painting, Fred replies, and the two of you settle the rest. The price shown is the price of the work.
- The one I wanted is sold.
- That happens often: more than eighty works in the catalogue are already spoken for, and they stay on display — a catalogue shows a body of work, not only what is left to sell. Write to him and name it: he will tell you what comes close in the studio.
- Can I see a painting before deciding?
- Yes, in the Magdalen Islands. Fred lives and works in Bassin, and a painting collected in person carries no shipping cost. While an exhibition is running, the hung works can be seen on the wall.
- Why do some dimensions carry a star?
- Because they still need to be checked with a tape measure. They come from Fred's own notes and the canvas has not been measured again. The star is there so you know before buying, not after.
